I think my original intention was a sort of Tapestry group picture, but it became a collection of portraits because I couldn't get it to look right. And then the monochrome Shruikan on the side doing the da Vinci finger. His eyes on the real thing are a much brighter red. They look a bit scary.

I wanted a good reference for the three light-haired men I've been writing recently. Because they all wear long coats, and I like references so I don't get their clothing mixed up. (Which I did here)

They are:
1. Dietrich Asriel, whom I drew previously here. He is socially awkward, which isn't surprizing considering his upbringing. He is more comfortable around animals than around people, and is followed around by a white tiger and a snow leopard. I don't think he appears in Tapestry. His eyes are probably a pale blue, which is what I made them here. I suck at remembering eye colours so I might be wrong. (at least I know the three others' eye colours... It'd be pretty pathetic if I couldn't remember Shru's.)
2. He goes by Van, because he's got a bounty on his head, and so does not use his real name. He is human, but was cursed with immortality for reasons I shall not divulge. And by immortality, I don't mean in the sense I usually use it (live forever unless killed) - he could have his head blown off and he'd still live through it, and he'd still feel the pain of having his head blown up. Luckily he's good at dodging.
3. Same as #2. I screwed up his coat sleeve in this one. You can see his coat-of-arms on his shirt, albeit badly drawn. (And he wonders how people always manage to find him, walking around with that splashed across his chest...)
4. Cloud Chant. Cloud is actually a nickname he was given due to his hair colour and texture. Speaking of which, I am lacking a marker that is the right colour for his hair, because all of them are either too dark or too vibrant. Cloud appears in Tapestry and used to be a vampire slayer. (Shadow meets him in prison, where he had been jailed because he decided to side with the vampires, which his boss wasn't too happy about.)
